AUSSNAP began its days in Western Australia, it was known as Western Australian Shark Clips for 15 years. 

 

Western Australian Shark Clips became the focus of the pearling industry, oyster farmers and commercial fishing operations Australia wide, with hundreds of orders daily. 

 

After 15 successful years, the business changed ownership with a fresh rebrand to AUSSNAP.  AUSSNAP continued to evolve by introducing custom modifications for the industry's heavy demands.  

 

10 years later 2014,  AUSSNAP was relocated to the small coastal town of Port Sorell

in Tasmania. 

 

Now in 2022, Ian, Carolyn and the family business are moving ahead with new machines and more customised fishing clips.
